Why futsal?
Futsal enhances performance on the soccer field. Ninety-five percent (95%) of professional international players claimed it honed their tactical and technical skills.
Futsal is a 5v5 game played indoors, without walls and with a smaller, heavier ball. Both FIFA and UEFA recognize it as the official version of indoor soccer.
The heavier ball creates less bounce than a regular soccer ball, requiring better ball control and foot skills by the player. Playing without walls (as in regular indoor soccer), futsal players cannot recover as easily from errant passing—the ball can go out of play and into the other team’s possession.
Training Programs
NPC Futsal is the only USYF accredited futsal Development Academy in the DMV area. With over 100 young athletes playing on NPC Futsal teams, several players from NPC Fútbol & Futsal move on to play with professional teams in the U.S. and abroad each year.
Our Development Academy and distinct training program develop technical and tactical proficiency as well as cognitive awareness. Our coaches are current and former professional soccer and futsal players and coaches, who have played for high ranking U.S. and international teams.
NPC Futsal's average year-round Development Academy costs $24 per 90 minutes of training, the closest competitor is approximately $50 per 90 minute session.
